doḍḍavanu
"elder one / bigger one (masc.)" in spoken Kannada is doḍḍavanu. It's a noun (masc.) that you'll first encounter in Lesson 17: Is your sibling older or younger than you? of the KannadaMaadi course, where Anu and Ravi use it in context.
